With a sharp post on her personal Facebook account, the well-known actress, Dora Chrysikou, describes her adventure with the EOPYY who, although a former cancer patient, excluded her from the beneficiaries, because due to surcharges she owes… 60 euros.
The announcement in detail:
“I don’t know what the 41% say about the cybernetic and the ultra-elegant, I know that today when my oncologist went to write my quarterly examinations, he told me that the system shows” that “I am not an EOPYY beneficiary”.
I’m not a beneficiary and I pay a shitload of money every month, I’m a former cancer patient, I have 67% disability. So I am not a beneficiary because with the surcharges – which I obviously did not take lightly – the EFKA amount increased by 10 euros per month. I owe 60 euros.
But for these 60 (others owe 2 and 3 euros as I found out) I was thrown out of the EOPYY, that is, I can’t even write antibiotics. Sit applauding on the balconies and be happy that Mitsotakis increased your minimum wage by 20 euros while he takes it tenfold from 100 different sides. Such falsity has never passed through the country before.
PS I’m one of the lucky ones who can afford to pay the “debt” (sounds so ridiculous) to get insurance again, but I think how many of my fellow humans can’t and will be left without medical and pharmaceutical care unless they get away with it. From me a big mutza. You are a gang, not a government.”
