Golden Fly was presented against theater awards; show of the year – Dog Village Misfortune Bear

From September 28 to October 4, the fifteenth level and audiovisual arts festival of the Latvian Academy of Culture (LKA) was held. Autumn of the Patriarchwhere you would get to know the creative works of young and future professionals in the performing and audiovisual arts.

Festival Autumn of the Patriarch at the closing ceremony of the R*sola carnival, the awards presented by the festival sponsor, Karina Pēterson, were presented:

Main prize – Pēteras Pētersonas lamp for the best director – Linda Kalniņa;
best actress award – Polina Chernenok;
the award for the best actor – Kristaps Kristers Ozols;
Best Dance – Anna Marija Puķe;
The best dancer – Artūrs Nīgalis.

LKA Eduards Smiļģa Theater Museum special awards:

Best Actress – Santa Breaks;
the most successful actor – Tomas Ralfs Abolkalns;
The best performance – Sergej Smikov mono-performance “Kocenieki and taseniecece”.

The special awards of director Māra Ķimele were presented:

Elizabeth Milta;
to Polina Chernenok;
Sergei Smikov.

In the second part of the ceremony, other theater of the year awards were presented A golden fly winners. During the week of the festival, all visitors had the opportunity to evaluate the performance of theater professionals last season by voting for their favorites in five specific categories. Gold flies the awards ceremony attracted the attention of nominees and industry professionals, some of whom were quite interesting and brave enough to attend the ceremony.

Gold flies this year’s awards were given to:

The most diverse role of the year – Nikita Osipov does not work in the Puppet Theater, but he plays both good and bad in one season. And participating in three other children’s shows.

Annual feast – Valters Sílis sets a banquet table for a whole choir in his theater, but he only offers a few cookies to the audience in his wife’s theater. Actors eat at home.

Duel of the year – The Dailes Theater and the Latvian National Theater compete with banks, Peter Pans and kingdoms. Anyway, who is bigger in the end – Malkovich or Krymov?

The most advanced theater in Latvia is the Latvian National Theatre. Nothing conservative, just non-traditional ways of relationships!

On the other hand, on October 12, the whole day will be held in the Stämerien Palace Autumn of the Patriarch satellite event Autumn plein air in Stämerien, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a selection of the creative work of LKA students and graduates – a theater performance, a contemporary dance performance and a short film exhibition.
