Golden eye in search of new worlds!!

With so many mysterious planets outside our solar system, scientists are now shifting their focus from discovery to characterizing and understanding what they are made of and what conditions their surfaces might be in if they were rocky?

The James Webb Space Telescope, with its golden mirror, is very sensitive. It works in infrared light, which is where planets give off most of their light. The Webb Telescope has captured data on nearly two dozen different planetary systems, breaking records and defying theories in the process, so let’s dive into some of the notable systems Webb has studied so far:
