In its weekly Covid-19 situation update, according to figures stopped this Friday January 14 at 1 p.m., the rectorate of Dijon reports 172 closed classes among the 6,647 (1st degree) in the academy. In Côte-d’Or, 29 of them are concerned, for 94 in Saône-et-Loire, 25 in Yonne and 24 in Nièvre.
A school structure is also closed in Burgundy, it is the school of Corvol-l’Orgueilleux, commune of Nièvre.
1,364 students positive for Covid-19 in Côte-d’Or
Over the past seven days, 4,710 students (1st and 2nd degrees) have been diagnosed with Covid-19, or 1.78% of children enrolled in the Dijon academy. 1,364 cases have been identified in Côte-d’Or, more than double in three days. They are 1,963 in Saône-et-Loire, 729 in Yonne and 654 in Nièvre.
Finally, across all four departments, 133 staff tested positive for coronavirus.
