Originally from Dijon and 35 years old, Adeline Munarolo has been doing sport since she was 8 years old, when she won her first cross. For years, she practiced running, trail and ultra-trail, and has a few victories to her credit on marathon, ultra-trail or trail. “During an ultra-trail race in the Vosges, I seriously injured my knee and the doctors told me that I would never be able to use it again. Suddenly, for some time, I had given up hope of doing sport again at a high level”.
At the same time, in 2018, his brother had set himself “the challenge of completing the Embrunman, one of the toughest triathlons in the world in terms of its elevation. That year, he was eliminated at the time barrier 20 km from the finish. He is then very disappointed”. Throughout the race, Adeline Munarolo followed her brother and loved seeing all these athletes evolve and surpass themselves, especially Charlotte Morel, who finished 2e this year.
