Under the authority of Fabien Sudry, prefect of the Burgundy-Franche-Comté and Côte-d’Or region and Olivier Caracotch, public prosecutor of Dijon, 150 anti-narcotics operations were carried out in March in the department, allowing the entry of products and cash representing a monetary equivalent of €2,167,275.

– 44.78 kg of heroin (estimated resale price of €1,477,674
– 6 gr of ecstasy (estimated resale price €60)

These operations led to the indictment of 41 people and the issuance of 71 criminal fixed fines. For police and gendarmerie crews alone, more than 1,624 hours of daily patrols were devoted to the fight against drug trafficking.
This permanent mobilization of all law enforcement agencies has made it possible, for the first quarter of 2022, to record the seizure of the equivalent of €9,716,441 and to strengthen the relationship between police services, which has notably illustrated by the seizure of 66 kg of cannabis in the Greuze district, in Dijon.
