Banyuwangi – a gold shop in Genteng District, Banyuwangi were robbed by 4 unknown men. As much as 3.7 kilograms of gold they took from the shop.
The shop is the Wangi Gold Shop located on Jalan Gajah Mada. Action robbery it was recorded on the shop’s CCTV and has been reported to the police.
The four perpetrators were recorded entering the shop from the side door. It can be seen on the CCTV that one female officer blocked the action of the 4 perpetrators. Then the perpetrator immediately took the gold jewelry from the shop window. The shop clerks, mostly women, could not do much in the robbery that occurred this afternoon.
“There were 4 men, after we told us to sit down, suddenly he entered the shop. Even though we had the door earlier. But they pushed into the shop,” said Hestin, a shop clerk to reporters, Friday (12/3/2021 ).
The officers, said Hestin, had banned the action robbery that. However, because the shop clerk was threatened with being shot, the four perpetrators freely took the gold that was in the window.
“Three people took the gold. One was on guard and threatened to shoot me in the head at that time,” he added.
Temporary owner Gold Shop Wangi, Muhamad Hasan admitted that he had reported this robbery to the police. “I have reported it to the Genteng Police,” he added.
Hasan also said that as much as 3.7 kilograms of gold jewelry were robbed. “Yes, about Rp. 2 billion more than my loss. We ask the police to provide justice to us,” he added.
Kapolsek Genteng AKP Sudarmaji confirmed the report of the action robbery this. His party is currently still investigating the case at the gold shop. “We are still investigating,” he said briefly.
