GOLD, questions about electronic identity cards: Why doesn’t the tricolor appear? Why has “sex” been replaced by “gender”?

The Alliance for the Union of Romanians asks the people in charge with the new identity cards why there was not a public debate before starting the issuance of the new bulletins.

“Legitimate questions about the new bulletins: Why doesn’t the tricolor appear? Why has SEX been replaced by GENDER? Why was there no public debate before the new bulletins started? Is this another step forward towards the erasure of the national identity and the re-education of the population? ”, It is shown on the AUR Facebook page.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) announced that all appointments for obtaining the electronic identity card for the next 30 days have been exhausted since the launch of the pilot project in Cluj-Napoca. Thus, approximately 450 people requested this type of document.

The Prime Minister Florin Cîţu praised the initiative of the Ministry of Interior to launch the pilot project for issuing the Electronic Identity Card in Cluj-Napoca and specified that he is convinced that it will be extended at national level.

“I am convinced that we will extend this project at national level, within the established term of 18 months, so that all Romanians can benefit from the Electronic Identity Card, a document that offers more security regarding the citizens’ data. Romania, come on, it’s possible! ”, Prime Minister Cîţu transmitted on Tuesday.
