The price of gold stabilized today, Sunday, in Egypt, by evening trading, compared to its level in the middle of trading, according to what Naguib, former secretary general of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy.
This comes after the price of a gram of gold fell 40 pounds during today’s trading, compared to its level yesterday evening.
Gold prices today
The price of 14 karat gold recorded about 1507 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 carat gold was about 1937 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 karat gold settled at 2260 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold recorded about 2583 pounds per gram.

The global price of gold recorded about $1919 per ounce, (an ounce, which is equivalent to about 31.1 grams of 24 karat) by the end of trading on Friday (the last trading week), up $11.15, or 0.58%, compared to its level at the end of last Thursday’s trading, according to Bloomberg agency data.
