The price of gold fell today, Wednesday, in Egypt at the beginning of trading, and the price of a gram decreased by about 55 pounds, compared to its level yesterday.

The price of a gram of gold rose by 120 pounds during yesterday’s trading, exceeding 3,700 pounds for the first time in its history for 21 karat, recording 3,730 pounds.

Gold prices today

14-karat gold prices fell to 2,450 pounds per gram.

The price of 18 karat gold fell to 3,150 pounds per gram.

The price of 21 carat gold reached 3675 pounds per gram.

The price of 24 karat gold fell to about 4,200 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound fell to 29,400 pounds. The price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.

Gold price globally

The price of gold globally fell to about $2029 per ounce (an ounce is equivalent to about 31.1 grams of 24 karat gold) in the first hours of the beginning of trading today, Wednesday, with a decline of $0.44, or 0.02%, compared to its level at the end of yesterday’s trading, according to Bloomberg data.
