Gold prices in Egypt are rising to an unprecedented record

Gold prices rose in the local market, during trading today, Tuesday, as the gram increased by about 3 pounds, compared to yesterday’s prices, to set the record a new record not reached before.

Club Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a gram of 21 carat gold rose today to 808 pounds compared to 805 pounds, yesterday.

The price of a gram of 18 carat gold was about 693 pounds, the price of a gram of 24 carat was about 923 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold reached 6464 pounds.

Globally, gold was minted by a rally near the height of nine years, on Tuesday, as expectations for higher inflation were equaled by an increase in stimulus and a rise in risk appetite, according to Reuters.

With silver penetrated the level of $ 20 for the first time since September 2016, according to Reuters.

And gold rose in immediate transactions 0.2% to 1818.23 dollars an ounce by 0510 GMT, after reaching the highest level since September 2011, today, Monday.
