Gold prices rose again in the local market, during today’s trading, compared to yesterday’s prices.
Naguib Club, former general secretary of the Gold Merchants Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-gram of gold rose today to 798 pounds, compared to 795 pounds yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18-carat gold was about 684 pounds, and the price of a 24-carat gram was 911 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold was about 6360 pounds.
Globally, gold prices jumped at the end of yesterday’s trading by 1.12%, according to Bloomberg data.
The price of an ounce of gold was $ 1814.1, with an increase of nearly $ 20, at the end of the week’s session.
Today and tomorrow are official holidays in global stock exchanges.
