Gold prices in the local market returned to rise during Thursday’s trading, with one gram increasing by about 6 pounds, compared to yesterday’s levels.
Club Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a gram of 21 carat gold rose today to 750 pounds compared to 744 pounds yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold today reached 643 pounds, and the price of a gram of 24 carat to about 857 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold reached 6 thousand pounds.
According to Bloomberg data, global gold prices rose slightly during today’s trading, as the price of an ounce today rose by about $ 2.4, or 0.15%, compared to the end of trading yesterday.
The price of an ounce reached 1718 dollars at twelve and thirty minutes at noon, Cairo time.
And gold prices witnessed a slight decline in the local market during trading yesterday, Wednesday, as the price per gram fell by about one pound.
