Gold prices retreated in the local market, during trading today, Monday, after the gram fell by 5 pounds, compared to yesterday’s prices.
Naguib Club, General Secretary of the Gold Dealers Division in the former Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-gram gold gram has decreased today to 835 pounds, compared to 840 pounds, yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold was about 715 pounds, and the price of a 24-carat gram was about 954 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold reached 6780 pounds.
Globally, gold prices fell by 0.36%, and the price of an ounce fell by about $ 6.8 compared to the end of yesterday’s trading, to record $ 1923 at 12:30 pm Cairo time, according to Bloomberg data.
Gold prices rose during Sunday’s trading, as the gram rose by about 3 pounds per gram.
