Gold prices are falling in Egypt, losing 40 pounds in a week

Gold prices plunged in the Egyptian market, during last week’s trading, compared to last Friday’s prices.

Naguib Club, former general secretary of the gold division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said that the price of a gram of 21 carat gold fell during today’s trading to 815 pounds, compared to 855 pounds last Friday.

The price of a gram of 18-carat gold was about 698.6 pounds, and the price of a 24-carat gram was about 931.4 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold reached 6520 pounds.
