Gold prices returned to the rise in the local market, during trading today, Thursday, to raise the gram 6 pounds once, compared to yesterday’s prices.
Club Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-gram gold price rose today to 761 pounds compared to 755 pounds, yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold was about 652 pounds, 24 carats around 869 pounds, and the gold pound was 6088 pounds.
Globally, gold prices recovered on Thursday, after touching the lowest level in two weeks in the previous session, as a rift erupted between Washington and Beijing over Hong Kong, while prices also received support from central banks and governments pumping money to alleviate the consequences of the Corona pandemic, according to Reuters news agency.
And gold rose in immediate transactions 0.6% to 1718.67 dollars an ounce by 0748 GMT, after falling to 1693.22 dollars an ounce yesterday, Wednesday, before reducing its losses.
And gold prices in the local market fell during trading yesterday, Wednesday, about 6 pounds per gram.
