The price of gold continued to fall in Egypt on Wednesday during evening trading, and the gram fell 10 pounds, compared with half of trading, despite the metal’s global rise, according to Naguib Club, former secretary general of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, in Masrawy.
And the price of an ounce of gold dropped by £25 in mid-trade today, to continue its decline in evening trading, after rising by around £45 from last night’s level earlier in trading.
Gold prices today
Prices for 14-karat gold have dropped to £1140 per gram.
And the price of 18-karat gold has dropped to £1,466 per gram.
The price of 21-karat gold fell to £1,710 per gram.
The price of 24-karat gold fell to 1954 pounds per gram.
The price of the gold pound
The price of the gold pound has dropped to 13,680 pounds, and the price can vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
The global price of gold
The price of gold rose globally during evening trading on Wednesday to around $1777 an ounce, an increase of 0.36%, according to data from the Bloomberg agency.
