Gold medalist and chef: Beatriz Souza shares her favorite things about cooking

Beatriz Souza won Brazil’s first gold in the competition Olympic Games in Paris. When she has time, the athlete says that cooking is one of her favorite things to do – despite refusing to eat anything with meat liver.

“I like it, even if it takes me some time to make a simple meal. I like to cook, yes,” he said at a press conference at Clube Pinheiros. Amidst the laughter of the local public, she assured that she is getting on well among the pots.

“I do a little bit of everything, as long as I have the recipe on hand,” he said. His specialty: ribs. “This is the biggest dish I make and it’s always good, you know?”, he said, laughing.
