Led at half-time on the American football synthetic at Union Stadium in Spokane (United States) on a goal from Bongben Confidence (24th), the Habs owe a proud candle to Rachel Corboz. Already author of the only goal against South Korea in the previous match sending them to the final, the Stade de Reims midfielder scored a saving double in the second half.
She first found herself at the conclusion of a low center from Marion Braunwart, intelligently left past by Sarah Palacin, to equalize from the left from the penalty spot (47th). Before offering the victory and the title to his team with a free kick from twenty meters in the middle in the skylight (79th), following a hand outside the area from goalkeeper Annette Flore Ngo Ndom, expelled for this fault.

THE FINAL IN REPLAY
Kentish for boys
The men’s military selection also distinguished itself by winning the hundredth Kentish Challenge in June, a friendly triangular tournament created in 1921. A victory over the Netherlands (4-0) and a draw against the United Kingdom (1-1) lifted the trophy for the thirty-first time. Composed mainly of career soldiers, France had in its ranks the goalkeeper of IC Croix Jean Chopin (N3) and the defenders of SC Schiltigheim Stéphane Tritz (N2) and FCSR Haguenau Jonathan Parpeix (N2). She had also received reinforcements from former professionals Florent André (SC Bastia) and Ladislas Douniama (EA Guingamp, RC Strasbourg).
