On Monday afternoon, a man who was participating in a wild boar hunt in the town of Champeau-en-Morvan (Côte-d’Or) was shot in the stomach. A bullet fired by a fellow hunter.

Drug and alcohol tests came back negative

The killer was then taken into custody by the gendarmerie, where tests for alcohol and drugs were carried out: both were negative. The man allegedly evoked an accidental shooting in front of the gendarmes, but the investigation will allow us to learn more about the reasons for this incident. The killer was released from police custody on Monday evening.
