Gokulam Kerala FC came back from where it looked like they were going to lose. Gokulam won the crucial match in the I-League title fight. Kerala beat Rajasthan United by two goals to one. It was Rajasthan United who scored the first goal in the match which started with Gokulam’s dominance. Aman scored from a free kick in the ninth minute of the match. That goal came from a mistake by Kerala goalkeeper Shib.

Later, both teams created several chances, but only the goal remained. Mendi Gokulam equalized by converting a penalty with just one minute left in the game. With just seconds left in the eight minutes of extra time, Mendy scored again to give Gokulam a thrilling victory.
With the victory, Gokulam improved one position in the points table and reached the third place. Gokulam managed to get 27 points from 17 games.
