Gokulam Kerala FC have announced their I-League squad for the new season. Gokulam Kerala owner Gokulam Gopalan announced the team giving preference to Malayalee players. There are six foreign players on the squad including Juan Carlos Nellar from Argentina and Everton Gulmarez from Brazil.
Gokulam Kerala FC will play at the Mancheri Payyanad stadium aiming for the third I-League title. Aminou Baba from Cameroon is the team captain. In the team that has six foreign players, like last year, Malayalee players are prominent. In addition to Juan Carlos Nellar from Argentina and Everton Gulmares from Brazil, Malayalams Arjun Jayaraj, Naufal, Mohammad Jasim and Shijin T were included in the 24-member squad. Among the squads also the Afghan midfielder Farshad Noor, the natives of Cameroon Somaliga and Dodindo. The team jersey was issued by the president of the Gokulam Group Gokulam Gopalan.
The release of the away shirt was carried out by the President of the Municipality of Mancheri VM Subaida.
