Speaking to Match TV in Russia, Gökdeniz said, “I lived in Kazan for 11 years, I had success. I wanted to have a mosque built. There are Muslims in the Kalinino region, but there was no mosque. The opening was postponed due to the pandemic. I want President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to open it, “This is my dream. When it will open, it is not clear yet,” he said.
Gökdeniz Karadeniz won the Russian Cup and 2 Russian Super Cups along with the championship in Russia.
