The Gojek delivery service owned by PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) announced that it will stop the GoClub feature which is usually found in the Gojek application. This termination will be carried out starting February 26 2024, meaning 2 more days.
GoClub is a feature where users can collect points or XP and can exchange them. This feature also determines the level of using Gojek.
“Gojek would like to inform you that the GoClub program will end on February 26 2024, and XP giving will also end starting today, February 23 2024,” said Gojek in its official announcement, quoted Saturday (24/2/2024).
The company did not explain why the feature was discontinued. Gojek only said that it would carry out other innovations for more attractive customers.
“Gojek will continue to innovate and present programs that are no less interesting for you to participate in in the future,” he explained.
Gojek said that all accumulated XP points, levels and other related benefits will automatically be invalid because the GoClub program has been terminated. Points collected cannot be compensated
“GoClub XP and its levels are just points used to determine member levels in the GoClub program. These points cannot be exchanged or redeemed for monetary value, so they cannot be compensated,” explained Gojek.
However, Gojek ensures that there will still be other, more attractive offers for customers.
“Thank you for being loyal to using Gojek and being part of GoClub. Especially for you Juragan and Sultan’s Children, Gojek has attractive offers, starting from special prices for GoFood Plus subscriptions to GoPay Cashback of up to 50%,” concluded Gojek’s announcement.
