Going through hard times due to divorce, Helmy Yahya: Wow, it hurts so bad

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Famous presenter Helmy Yahya revealed that he went through a tough time when facing divorce from his first wife, Harfansy or Acy.

“Wow, it hurts a lot. My body dropped 10 kilos (kilograms) times,” said Helmy Yahya in a vlog on the YouTube channel Daniel mananta Network as quoted Kompas.com, Friday (21/8/2020).

At that time, Helmy Yahya felt bad about his divorce. He didn’t even dare to go into his bedroom and ask his son to sleep together.

“Just imagine, we and someone 23 years old suddenly disappeared. Before, I didn’t even dare to enter my bedroom. I took my child to ‘sleep in daddy’s room’, it’s hard,” Helmy said.

It doesn’t stop there, Helmy Yahya is also hosting an event that seeks a married couple to maintain their household.

However, Helmy Yahya admitted, continue to carry out his duties as the event guide as best he can.

“But I have to believe that this was the best at that time. Imagine, I was performing an event called ‘Still You Love Me’ which reconciles people who want to divorce,” said Helmy Yahya.

“Imagine Helmy Yahya who reconciles people but he can’t make peace. I just say this, ‘this is my perfection as an imperfect human’,” he added.
