The Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province announced yesterday (3rd) that Hong Kong people entering the Shenzhen Bay port from the 8th to the 17th of this month will stay in Shenzhen for “14+7” isolation and will no longer be diverted to Dongguan, Huizhou, Shanwei and other cities ; People who enter the country from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport will all be quarantined in Guangzhou and will no longer be diverted to cities such as Foshan and Qingyuan. Macao residents only need to provide a valid negative nucleic acid test certificate within 7 days.
Deputy Director-General Fu Yongge said that in order to avoid the peak traffic during the Spring Festival and ensure the safety of the phased diversion work, Guangdong has made appropriate adjustments to the phased diversion work for immigrants. Starting at midnight on the 6th, people entering through various ports in Guangdong who need to be quarantined for medical observation will no longer be arranged for inter-city home quarantine in principle. For those entering from the airport, they must provide a certificate of negative nucleic acid test results sampled within two days before boarding. Passengers from some countries also need to provide a certificate of negative nucleic acid test for the new coronavirus and a certificate of negative serum-specific IgM antibody test. The museum applies for a green health code or health statement with the “HS” logo.
Currently, there are 56 inbound flights per week at Guangzhou and Shenzhen airports. Among them, there are 49 classes in Guangzhou and 7 classes in Shenzhen, with an average of 1,400 inbound passengers per day. Since January 5 this year, Guangdong Province has implemented an appointment clearance mechanism for people entering Hong Kong via the Shenzhen Bay Port. About 200 people enter Hong Kong every day for the past week. Recently, the number of people who need to be quarantined at the ports of the province has also decreased significantly, with a total of about 2,000.
