Juve Napoli case, going against the protocols in order to make the economy prevail over health
A league – We are witnessing one of the worst pages of Italian football ever. The Lega Calcio and the FIGC wage ‘war’ on a local and health authority such as the ASL. No need to reread, that’s it. Not that this is new, but the protection of health is medically and effectively in step with the world of football. Football wages ‘war’ on healthcare. Yes, because if you read the interventions of all the members belonging to the competent football and sports authorities (UEFA, Lega Calcio, FIGC) the message that comes out is (in other words) ‘We have to play by force, there are the economic interests that are too important and we do not accept that a local authority can put a mouth on a world that makes a lot of millions of euros go round. “Even today, after three days from the lack of Juventus-Napoli there has been no step back, on the part of Lega or FIGC, in admitting that they wanted to force a health choice rather than a sports one. The reiteration of the concept on Twitter ‘Juventus-Napoli will be played regularly and bla bla bla’ after the news that the ASL has blocked the away match for the Napoli team is a symptom that the prevalence of the economy over health is becoming more and more evident.Once upon a time people tried to make the best of a bad situation, today no more.
A REGULATION which will also exist, but which is not taken into consideration even by those who make the regulation itself. The League draws up the protocol and the League itself does not respect the protocol by forcing a football club to travel despite the stops of the doctors. The resolution of 3 October written by the Lega reads: “The case in point, with reference to the resolution of the Lega Serie A Council (Lnpa) received yesterday, at 17.01, clearly falls within those provisions of the state and local authorities that are” facts safe ”and which determine the inapplicability of the“ rules relating to the Covid-19 impact – management of positive cases and postponement of tenders ”.
NON it had never come to question self-made laws. Italian football does not miss one more and also adds this to the endless list of mistakes by those who govern and manage the world of sport and football. Not to blame Napoli this time. There would be a chance to remedy, namely to expect a ruling in favor of Napoli by the Sports Judge. This alone would save what little face you see. At the moment the verdict is still sub iudice.
