The Brazilian Goiás Youth Symphony Orchestra wants to help young people to improve their living conditions through music. On the penultimate evening of the Young Euro Classic festival, the musicians present a program of orchestral works that capture the attitude to life of people from various South American regions.
At Young Euro Classic the best youth orchestras in the world perform. For two and a half weeks, orchestras from all over the world present programs from the European classical tradition and new music from their countries of origin at the Konzerthaus Berlin. Since its founding in 2000, Young Euro Classic has welcomed 178 orchestras from 59 nations, 260 renowned international conductors have played in harmony with 26,544 young musicians, and the European Composition Prize has been awarded 24 times, inspiring 172 new works.
