Several Konami games have been updated in GOG to receive compatibility with modern controllers.
The work, carried out by the technical team of the GOG itself, improves the control in the following titles:
- Konami Collector’s Series: Castlevania & Contra (includes Castlevania, Castlevania 2: Simon’s Quest, Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Curse, Contra, and Super C)
- Metal Gear
- Metal Gear Solid
- Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance
- Silent Hill 4: The Room
Thanks to this update, users will be able to use the Xbox and Xbox Series X / S controls, the DualShock 4, the DualSense and the Nintendo Switch Pro controller with all of them.
The patch also optimizes keyboard combinations and makes small changes to overall controller support, as explained. GOG.
Konami classics were added to GOG’s catalog last year, following an agreement between the Japanese company and the digital distribution platform owned by CD Projekt.
