GOG has closed its service for importing games from the Steam library

GOG Connect is a service that allows you to import games from your Steam library into the GOG collection. Redditors noticedthat as of last week, the service URL now redirects users to the GOG homepage.

There was no official announcement about the closure of GOG Connect. However, the representative of the digital store confirmed edition of PC Gamer that the service is really no longer supported, and its page has been removed.

According to a GOG representative, the service was systematically losing its audience, so it was decided to close it. Instead, players are encouraged to cross-platform and build their own library of games using GOG Galaxy 2.0.
