GOG.com platform decided to give players more time to collect the gift. Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse will be available for free download until June 16, 15:00 Polish time.
The GOG.com platform has released another free production as part of the Summer Sale. After the action RPG Venetica with the daughter of death in the lead role, the time has come Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse – the second installment a series of two-dimensional platformers with the title half-djinnia from WayForward studio. The promotion will end on June 15 at 15:00 GMT.
The production was released on the PC in 2015. He takes us to a magical world where Shantae must learn to live without his magic powers. She will quickly face a new threat, along with her former rival – the pirate Risky Boots.
The game, like the entire series, has gained the recognition of players (95% of positive ratings on Steam) and critics (the original release for Nintendo 3DS has the so-called metascore 82/100; average of 18 reviews via Metacritic). Of course, the production has visually aged visually – compared to newer parts Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse can even be considered a retro position. Nevertheless, in terms of style, the title still receives praise, and the gameplay cannot be faulted too much.
