Godzilla and King Kong come to Call of Duty: Warzone

Activision and developer studios Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software have set their sights on launching a new season of Call of Duty: Warzone on April 27. This was confirmed by the parties this week.

See what awaits next season with Warzone and Vanguard.

Season number three goes by the name Classified Arms, and promises a number of major changes to the battle royale game. The biggest of all these is apparently the introduction of both Godzilla and King Kong, who apparently put the battles between them on the Caldera map.

The two giants will not appear until May 11, but exactly how they will affect the experience remains to be seen. The Warzone developer has admittedly released a short trailer, which you can see above, which hints at great destruction and chaos in what Raven calls Operation Monarch.

Otherwise, the Caldera will undergo a number of changes, especially focused around the Mine, Peak, Runway and Lagoon areas. The season also features a new Gulag, designed by Crash Bandicoot 4 developer Toys for Bob.

Furthermore, new weapons and more playable characters come to the battlefield. These will also be found in Call of Duty: Vanguard, where players can also explore new maps and updates to zombie mode.
