Munich –
Bayern Munich claimed to have been interested Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the past. However, the ‘god demands’ Ibracadabra make The Reds give up.
Ibrahimovic is a footballer who has defended many top clubs in various leagues. From ajax Amsterdam of Dutch League, Juventus, Inter Milan, and AC Milan of Italian League, Barcelona in Spain, Paris Saint Germain in France, The Galaxy in Major League Soccer, and Manchester United of Premier League.
Only one league that Ibrahimovic hasn’t tasted yet. Is Bundesliga Germany he had never felt.
The 39 -year -old has apparently been close to German League. Bayern Munich investigator had an interest in bringing him back.
This was revealed by the former Bayern president, Uli Hoeneß. Ibrahimovic seemed to have come close to being signed, but the German giants withdrew because of the player’s high bid.
“He is a great player, but his demands are divine,” Hoeness told RTL. “We were very interested, but didn’t even get to the final stage,” he said.
Now, Ibrahimovic is still competing at the highest level, together AC Milan. The Swedish striker was also still able to show off, scoring 17 goals. In total, Ibrahimovic has a record 502 goals at club level throughout his career.
In line with Hoeness, Bjorn Andersson, coach of the Bayern youth team from 1995-2009, admitted that Ibrahimovic had indeed been targeted. But Malmo, the player’s first club, asked a high price.
“We are in contact with (former Malmo FF sporting director) Hasse Borg,” he told Swedish football website Fotbollskanalen.
“But Bayern turned him down because there was too much money for young players.”
“It was the right decision. Bayern have won more titles than Ajax and Juventus. It was important in the end. They did not do anything wrong,” said Andersson.
