Deportivo Riestra 0-0 Huracán
Deportivo Riestra tied 0-0 with Huracán in Bajo Flores. Both have no chance of qualifying for the next round and played a match with few goal situations. With a frictionless game lacking ideas, the two bored all the spectators present at the Guillermo Laza Stadium.
The local team was more incisive and had three chances with a header from Jonathan Herrera that went into the hands of Hernán Galindez. Then Gonzalo Bravo and Gustavo Fernández finished wide.
At the end of the first 45 minutes Huracán responded with a Lucas Souto cross that Ignacio Pussetto failed to connect well. The Globo forward demanded a push, but referee Jorge Baliño did not consider that it had been a penalty.
In the second half, Pussetto himself missed an incredible goal since only in front of goalkeeper Ignacio Arce he hit it badly and threw it out. Although the Parque Patricios team was imprecise and gave Riestra chances, such as a counter by Mauro Ortíz that Lucas Carrizo cut off with a precise finish.
Without further ado, the two did not make any differences. Huracán is positioned eleventh and Riestra twelfth. On the next date, Globo will host Atlético Tucumán and Blanquinegro will visit Rosario Central. The days and times of the final day of the group stage have not yet been published.

Godoy Cruz 1-0 Sarmiento

The match was delayed and after the final restart the Mendoza team won, but it cost them against a Green team that did a great job. With this result, Tomba remained the team with the best score in the group stage of the Professional League Cup. Daniel Oldrá’s team, absolute leader of Zone B, became the first to qualify for the quarterfinals and is now waiting to meet its opponent in the quarterfinals.
At the beginning Sarmiento was encouraged with his positioning and complicated Godoy Cruz. In fact, the Junín team had a clear chance to open the scoring with shots from Iván Morales, Manuel Mónaco and a very clear one from Joaquín Gho, who after a mistake by goalkeeper Franco Petroli, his low shot traveled close to the goal line. Israel Damonte’s control of the cast continued, but he continued without aim.
At 19 minutes into the match, explosions began to be heard outside the stadium due to incidents between the Police and the Bodeguero team bar. Due to the smoke, part of the public that was located in the general gallery had to take shelter in the stalls, especially those who were with children.
The events took place on the beach that is located outside the premises. The game resumed, but the incidents returned again after 24 minutes. Some of the fans also decided to leave the venue due to the acts of violence.
Once the incidents were over, the meeting resumed and Godoy Cruz took the initiative. Hernán López Muñoz tried to take charge of his team’s game, although the clearest arrivals were from a free kick by Thomas Galdames that passed close to the crossbar and a header by Tomás Badaloni, close to the left post.
Before going to half-time, Sarmiento went deeper again and Gabriel Díaz almost converted by finishing with his back, although Petroli lowered the ball on the line.
In the second half Godoy Cruz took the lead and was lucky, since in the 60th minute Tomás Conechny finished and the ball deflected off a defender, which dislodged goalkeeper Fernando Monetti.

The former defender with a past in Vélez and emerged from the Newell’s youth team, who had his first experience as field assistant to Hernán Crespo, begins his path as a coach.
The opening of the scoring came after 5 minutes due to a blooper by goalkeeper Matías Tagliamonte, who after a header from Gastón Susso, the ball hit the crossbar and bounced off his back to score a goal against.
Although before going to half-time the Matador achieved equality and it was in the 46th minute with a beautiful shot by Juan Cruz Esquivel who, after fighting it and capturing a rebound, finished with a right foot and overcame the resistance of Juan Pablo Cozzani.
At the dawn of the match there was controversy over a handball by Tomás Lecanda inside the area in the midst of a struggle with Mateo Pellegrino. At the request of the VAR, which was in charge of Yael Falcón Pérez and after the play by the monitor, Andrés Merlos awarded a penalty. Pellegrino himself finished off and put Calamar ahead in the 53rd minute.
In the end Augusto Aguirre grabbed Oscar Salomon’s shirt and first Merlos did not see the foul and even expelled one of Platense’s coaches, Favio Orsi, for protesting. However, the referee received the call from the VAR and after seeing the foul on the monitor he marked the foul. Pellegrino kicked it again, Tagliamonte saved it, but the rebound was captured again by the forward and he converted his double.
