Those who still want to try Godfall but don’t have a PlayStation will soon be able to start with the game. After the game served as launch title for the PS5 and later also appeared on PS4, it is now coming to Xbox consoles. An exclusivity is also ending on PC: the game is coming to Steam after being available only through the Epic Games Store for a long time.
The Xbox and Steam versions of Godfall will be released soon, on April 7th. This release is an ‘Ultimate Edition’, which includes previous DLC. The Exalted expansion, which will be released on the same day as the Ultimate Edition, is also included in this new version of the game.

What kind of game is Godfall?
Godfall was developed by Counterplay Games and published by Gearbox. The game takes inspiration from the looter shooter, a genre Gearbox is very familiar with. But the game itself is not a shooter and focuses on melee attacks. Godfall will be described as a looter slasher.
Intussen is Counterplay Games already working on a new game† Unfortunately, little is known about this. A vacancy from the studio describes the game as a cooperative shooter. It is a new IP and therefore not a sequel to Godfall.
