God of War Ragnarok with details. Why will the developers end the saga, and what bugs will be eliminated?

Santa Monica Studio will face the big task of proposing a new adventure in the history of Kratos. Eric Williams and Cory Barlog spoke about the game and have a huge impact on the development of both adventures of Kratos in Norse mythology.

God of War Ragnarok has been unveiled on the PlayStation Showcase and Santa Monica Studio is ready to prepare players for the premiere of the game in small steps. We still don’t know when the title will finally make its debut, but Eric Williams (game director) and Cory Barlog (2018 God of War director) interviewed a YouTuber nicknamed Kaptain Kuba.

During the conversation, several threads were raised and as it turns out – it was Cory Barlog who decided to give up the plan to prepare three adventures in Norse mythology, because it would take too long to create production:

“It was Cory’s decision to end the Nordic saga after 2 games. One of the most important reasons was that it took 5 years to develop the first game, the second game needs a similar time. Third Nordic position means we would need around 15 years to cover one story, and that’s just too long. “

The developers also mentioned that the studio heard players complaining about the small variety of enemies in the previous Kratos story and God of War Ragnarok will provide many more enemies. The events will also focus on Blades of Chaos, the return of which has already been confirmed on the last footage.

Representatives of Santa Monica Studio are also convinced that the players will be “Impressed when they see NPC settlement, characters and enemies”.
