In a longer thread on Twitter Christopher Judge explains that he struggled with a number of health-related problems in August 2019. He had to have surgery on his back, both hips and knees, and Sony Santa Monica decided to hold back the game to give him time to get back on his feet. again.
Judge sends a big thank you to the developer, who should have given him full support all the way.

As Judge says, he has not received approval from Sony or the developer studio to talk about this. However, God of War producer Cory Barlog took to Twitter to give his support to the actor.
