Suara.com – After a long wait by fans, gameplay from God of War Ragnarok finally showcased by Sony. Story elements, gameplay, and legendary weapons are revealed in the trailer uploaded by PlayStation.
God of War Ragnarok is game action-adventure developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
It will be the ninth title in the God of War series (chronologically), and includes a sequel to God of War 2018. The game will feature protagonist Kratos and his young son, Atreus. Quoted from Eurogamer, God of War Ragnarok is confirmed as the closing part of the Norse Saga.
“As you can see in the trailer, we take it a few years after the events of God of War (2018). The freezing winds of Fimbulwinter have come to Midgard, making the survival of Kratos, Atreus, and Mimir in the Norse wilderness more challenging than ever.,” said Grace Orlady, Santa Monica Studio Senior Community Manager, quoted from the official PlayStation blog.

We can see through the trailer that Atreus has great curiosity. He wanted to keep his family safe, but Atreus also didn’t want to stand by and do nothing as conflict devoured the Nine Realms.
Kratos, who has knowledge of past mistakes, wants to save Atreus from the bloody lessons he learned from his conflict with the gods.
God of War Ragnarok will take players to previously unreachable Vanaheim, Svartalfheim, and Asgard.
The developer claims that the latest title will provide more diverse and mysterious locations than other God of War games.
In the trailer, fans can see the new attack ability, Runic Summon for Atreus, as well as the return of Kratos’ legendary weapon.

The developer also promises that new enemy characters will be introduced into the game. Considering this is the conclusion of the Norse Saga, the end of Kratos may be found in God of War Ragnarok.
“Realms have grown tougher, and a host of new creatures from across Norse mythology will put your skills to the test. From the trailer, you can see what happens when Kratos finds himself under Stalker’s nails or wedged between Dreki’s jaws, and that’s just the beginning.,” wrote the description in the game description.
Sony still has not provided any news regarding the release date of God of War Ragnarok. They just announced that the game is ready to hit PS4 and PS5 in 2022.
