God of War Ragnarok receives first minor update since release

In the night between Saturday and Sunday, God of War Ragnarok received patch 2.001. According to preliminary information, the update fixes some known and lesser known bugs, glitches and crashing issues, so it appears to be a minor update that doesn’t add any new content or global changes. The patch size was 277MB.

Sony Santa Monica has yet to release any official patch notes, but according to UpdateCrazy, the following changes have been made to the game:

  • Fixed some issues that caused crashes
  • Fixed some minor crashes
  • Fixed a bug that caused stuttering
  • General optimization of the game
  • General stability improvements
  • Other minor fixes

Also, as reported by some users, the position of the options in the main menu has been changed. They are now in the center of the screen and covering the Kratos figure.
