Today, Thursday, November 3, 2022, the review embargo for the third-person action game set in the Norse mythology God of War: Ragnarok from publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Santa Monica Studio has ended. The reporters gave their votes to the game.
Representatives of 50 gaming media gave the project an average score of 94 out of 100. Reviewers mostly praise the game, saying it is a perfect continuation of the earlier part of 2018 and a stunning conclusion to the Scandinavian adventures of Kratos and Atreus . However, some are unhappy that the game’s main design hasn’t changed an inch since the prequel, and the story lacks creativity in comparison.
God of War Ragnarok is an action adventure game, the fifth main installment in the God of War series. In terms of the pace and flow of the gameplay, as well as the way the action is performed, the game follows the path set by the 2018 God of War game.
The God of War Ragnarok storyline takes place several years after the events presented in the previous part of the series. Ragnarok, or the great battle between gods and giants, which should lead to the end of the world, is fast approaching. This is evidenced by the fact that the previous Winterfell (Fimbulwinter) had already reached Midgard. To avoid the inevitable tragedy that will undoubtedly bring the confrontation with the aces, Kratos wants to save Atreus at all costs. However, the son of a Spartan warrior is consumed with a desperate curiosity about his identity and the role he will play in the coming events. The heroes will experience another exciting adventure in which they will have to make a choice that will determine not only their destiny, but also the future of all nine worlds.
God of War Ragnarok will be released on November 9th exclusively on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
