Journalist Geoff Keighley revealed, this Monday (14), candidates and their categories to Game prizes 2022🇧🇷 PlayStation dominates the awards and has around 20 nominations, ten of which are from God of War Ragnarok.
The second place with the most mentions is tied Elder Ring And Forbidden Horizon West, with seven nominations each. Check below the list of categories in which the Santa Monica game competes:
- Best Action/Adventure;
- Best innovation in accessibility;
- Best Performance — with two nominations: Christopher Judge (Kratos) and Sunny Suljic (Atreus);
- Best Audio Design;
- Best Score;
- Best Art Direction;
- Best Fiction;
- Best Game Direction;
- Game of the year.
In addition to God of War Ragnarok, other titles from PS Studios have also been included in the nominations for The Game Awards. The Last of Us, Part I, Granturismo 7the film Unexplored, IT WAS and the acclaimed Stray are some of the other names mentioned – remembering that the latter two were released first on PlayStation and PC.
Obviously, God of War Ragnarok and Elden Ring are the most talked about names for the mug of Game of the Year, as its averages on Metacritic are 94 and 96 points, respectively. Recalling that the popular vote is now available on official site.
