God of War celebrated 4 years of life on April 20th and Sony Santa Monica left a special message of thanks to all fans.
In the message, Cory Barlog, game director, dedicated some time to God of War Ragnarök and commented that they are taking longer because they are perfectionists and will only reveal news when they are fully prepared.
Barlog says something spectacular is on the way, but has not commented on a release date and despite Sony already confirming God of War Ragnarök for 2022 in January, many decided to question the studio and workers about the date.
Bruno Velazquez, animation director on the project, was one of the people asked about the date, after sharing the video where Barlog leaves his message, replying that “Ragnarök arrives this year”.
Recent rumors have suggested that September could be the launch month for Ragnarök, but we’ll have to wait for official news.
