Thor, or rather his belly, divided the players. Fans of the God of War franchise have had different ideas about the appearance of the God of Thunder, and some openly state that because of his image they are not going to buy God of War Ragnarok. Others champion the vision of the developers.

One of Kratos’ main opponents in God of War Ragnarok will be Thor. The creators presented the image of the antagonist and hardly anyone could expect that the character’s belly would cause such a stir.
As it turns out, Thor doesn’t look like a hero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is a problem for some players. After all, the God of Thunder does not have six beautifully outlined cubes.
It is for this reason that Santa Monica Studio has come under a lot of criticism, although the developers tried to convey a real picture of how Thor was described in Scandinavian mythology. The problem lies in the vision proposed by the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
