Jaffe claimed last weekend YouTube that fans of the traditional, high-quality first-party PlayStation content won’t be disappointed. The video followed a tweet from Jaffe, in which he said gamers will be blown away during the show. He wanted to explain that statement further.

The developer also says he is one hundred percent sure that there are two titles in the presentation that are “of the traditional top quality that you can expect from PlayStation.” He also tells about a conversation he had with someone from the game industry, in which a game came up that surprised him quite a bit. Of course, Jaffe does not say which game it is and whether he will be part of the presentation, he logically does not know either.

The hype for PlayStation’s presentation has been rampant since last week’s announcement. Hermen Hulst, head of PlayStation Studios, reported that “a lot of exciting things are being made at PlayStation Studios.” Andy Robinson, editor at VideoGamesChronicle, says the show will feature some “super announcements.” The PlayStation Showcase will air next Thursday, September 9.
