How he writes Game Informer fans noticed that 6 of the 8 runes in the trailer for the new God of War are linked to Freya, the fertility goddess. The other two mean Heimdal and Tyr – respectively guardian of Bifrost (bridge to Asgard) and god of war.

According to players, the fact that most of the characters symbolize Freya could mean she will play a role in the ensuing sequel. In the previous part, she helped Kratos until he murdered her son – Baldur.

After the death of the descendant, the goddess swore revenge on the main character. So it is possible that her actions – and indirectly a warrior from Greece – will lead to Ragnarok, which the game will focus on. In Norse mythology, it was the death of the aforementioned Baldur that started the event.

God of War 2: Ragnarok will debut in 2021 on PS5.
