Price flight ticket abroad is experiencing a drastic surge. One of the routes that rose significantly was Jakarta-Singapore.
Chairperson of the DPP Association of Indonesian Travel Agents (Astindo) Pauline Suharno said the cheapest flight ticket to Singapore is currently IDR 3-5 million, so round trip (PP) can reach IDR 6-10 million. Whereas previously the round trip was only around Rp. 2-3 million.
“To Singapore one way with a low cost of IDR 3-5 million, so that round trips reach IDR 6-10 million. Whereas in the past, PP tickets were only IDR 2-3 million before the pandemic,” said Pauline to detik.comWednesday (1/6/2022).
Launching from tiket.com, the cheapest flight ticket to Singapore for economy class is IDR 3,014,000 to IDR 4,980,000 per person with Jetstar Asia, Air Asia, Batik Air, and Scoot or Low Cost Carrier (LCC) airlines.
If you take Garuda Indonesia to Singapore, the ticket price is in the range of Rp. 4,741,400 until it reaches Rp. 14,409,800. Then Singapore Airlines one way (without transit) tickets reach Rp. 8,898,200.
Meanwhile, the ticket prices for Singapore-Jakarta are already around Rp. 3,700,150 to Rp. 4,792,900 using Jetstar Asia, Air Asia, Batik Air, and Scoot or LCC airlines. Then with Singapore Airlines Rp 8,074,900.
This means that if it is roughly calculated the price of a plane ticket to Singapore for the cheapest PP reaches Rp. 6,714,150 to Rp. 9,772,900. The price above is a simulation if you travel June 9, 2022 or weekdays with the cheapest price.
