Mladá Boleslav completed the arrival of goalkeeper Matouš Trmal from Vitória SC Guimarães. The former Czech youth representative signed a contract with his new place of employment until 2026…
Trmal headed to the Iberian Peninsula three years ago from Slovácko, but he did not make a significant impact and as a substitute for Bruno Varela, he only played 15 competitive matches for Vitória.
The native of Tasovice spent last season on loan at CS Marítimo, but due to health problems, he only played in six league games, and was relegated with the island club.
Trmal will not wait for another chance in Vitória and is returning to the Czech Republic, he should become the new number one goalkeeper for Mladá Boleslav. The 24-year-old goalkeeper has a record of 50 clean sheets and 22 clean sheets in the Czech top flight.
Prospective goalkeeper Matouš Trmal, with experience in the Czech and Portuguese leagues, has signed a new three-year contract with FK Mladá Boleslav, expected to last until the end of June 2026.
