Before Saturday’s fight in the Optibet Latvian Football Super League, goalkeeper Vladislav Lazarev announced that Jūrmala’s Spartaks had joined his Twitter account.

The “Spartaks” team will host the championship team “Riga” on Saturday, at 18, in Sloka stadium.

We are pleased to announce the return of goalkeeper Lazarev to Spartak. He played for our team in 2016 and 2017, ”says the entry in the club’s Twitter account.

Lazarev spent this season in another Latvian club “Ventspils”, but after the recall of this team from the Premier League championship goalkeeper was left without a job. In eight fights, Lazarev stood at the goal for 672 minutes, scoring 11 “goals”.

In the 2020 season, Lazarev represented the bronze medalist “Valmiera”, in whose ranks he played six games, placing an average of 1.83 balls in a match. A season earlier, he participated in the “Valmiera” team in a total of 32 matches. Goalkeeper “Valmiera” joined the club in March 2019, when he came from Italy after the fourth league team “Pomigliano”. During his career, he also represented Jurmala’s “Spartaks”, “Gulbene 2005” and “Skonto 2” units.

Last September, he made his debut in the adult team, but has previously played in Latvian youth teams of various ages.

It has already been reported that the defender of the Latvian national team Mārcis Ošs, who had been hired out to the Swiss Super League club “Lugano” last season, has also returned to the “Spartaka” application.

In the Premier League standings table, Spartak ranks sixth with 18 points in 15 battles.
