Today, the Torre de Fútbol Club is organizing a day of solidarity in the fields of A Torre, in which the goal is to collect over 500 kilos of non-perishable food to donate to the A Coruña Economic Kitchen. Starting at 16:00 different teams will participate with the only condition that all those who want to take part in the initiative, from players to coaches, referees and the general public, must donate at least two kilos of food, which will be collected by civil protection volunteers, who confirmed their collaboration in the project. At 19:00 the culmination of the event will take place with a match that will see, on the one hand, the members of the municipal body and, on the other, journalists and athletes of the city, with Eugenia Gil, the highest category referee, for do justice. The team of politicians will have the support of former Dépor players Donato and Sabín Bilbao. The journalists will make use of the collaboration of boxer Enmanuel Reyes, weightlifters Irene Martínez, Irene Blanco and Ruth Fuentefría, athlete Mauro Triana, basketball referee Carlos Cortés, figure skater María Bilbao and former rugby player Helen Roca.
