Kochi: Goa FC lead by two goals in the first half against Blasters in ISL. Raulin Borges scored the first goal in the seventh minute of the first half after breaking the yellow army’s defense. In the seventeenth minute of the first half, Goa hit Blasters’ net for the second time. Muhammad Yasin scored the second goal which sent the Basters fans into despair.
The Blasters’ defense looked woeful throughout the first half. Govan Pada managed to take the lead in the seventh minute of the match at Blasters’ home ground. Raulin Borges capitalized on Blasters’ error in clearing the corner kick to give the visitors the lead.
Even before the shock of conceding the first goal wore off, the Yellow Army was silenced by the second goal. In the 17th minute, Mohammad Yasir hit the Blasters’ net for the second time. Yasir scored the goal from Nova’s cross from the left wing. On the other hand, Blasters’ Greek striker Dimitrios Diamantakos made a few attempts but failed to score.
